We wanted to create signage which could be integrated within the clothing displays, drawing customers’ eyes to the products themselves. However, this meant we had to think outside the box: our signage needed to be eye-catching enough to grab the customer’s attention, but the clothes were still the star of the show.

Bauble-shaped signage, placed inside the collar of clothes on hangers, allowed us to strike the perfect balance between a fun, festive shape and a shape that would not obstruct the view of the garment itself. Our client loved our bauble brainwave as much as we did, so we moved on to choose a material.

Metallised mirri board gave our bauble signage an eye-catching Christmassy high-shine – and by printing white ink underneath our text, we blocked out matte letters for a contrast against the glossy background. Die-cutting each bauble allowed its to sit flush against the garment, looking very smart indeed.

Mirri board has a distinctive shiny finish that meant it looked fantastic in store – but it’s a material that needs a lot of TLC when being put through the production process. Luckily Ebi Produce were on hand to ensure we could print, produce and cut it at high speed without scratching or damaging it. 

Once the campaign was complete, it still needed a few finishing touches before our global delivery team in Ebi Fulfil could take over. With gloves and careful handling for smudge-free results, Fulfil created individual store kits – along with a useful guide for store staff on handling the signage for best results – and collated each kit at high speed.

With tens of thousands of individual signs making up the order in total, this was a big campaign – but a time-sensitive one too. After all, Christmas only comes once a year! Within 20 days we had taken the campaign from design to bulk delivery all over the UK, with Fulfil delivering our store kits to each individual store.
