BPIF Celebrates the Future of Print

The British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) recently celebrated the future of the print industry with a virtual event to mark National Apprenticeship Week.

Calling for business leaders within the sector to continue support for current and future employees and apprentices, the BPIF’s event discussed a variety of topics, including the pandemic’s impact on the sector.

Also discussed were topics specific to apprentices in the print industry, including how to recruit apprentices, and how to get most of an apprenticeship in print.

“It is hugely important for us to run events like this and support National Apprenticeship Week to give young people, and those starting out, the best insights into our industry,” said BPIF’s Head of Marketing, Anaïs Bellemans.

“It was an informative and engaging morning – widening enthusiasm for print and allowing involvement between employers, apprentices and our own training team.”

For those who missed out on the event, many of the sessions are available for on demand viewing on the BPIF’s website.
