Global Trends Report: Print Industry in “Good” Condition

The sixth drupa Global Trends Report has revealed that worldwide figures for the print industry remain positive, with North America, Europe and Australia enjoying steady growth.

40% of printers around the world stated their company’s economic condition was “good” in the previous year, with 50% expecting improvements in 2019.

The Packaging market showed high levels of growth, as did the Functional market, but Publishing remained subdued, while the Commercial market reported feeling caution about 2019.

41% of printers spent more in 2018 than 2017, while just 15% spent less. Expenditure grew in all regions except Africa.
